Contents We start them early! When does it all happen? About our Coaches Levels of Play
We start them early! (back to contents) As we have such a large band of Qualified Coaches we are prepared to take children from Yr.2 onwards. Children will learn skills, team work and rules within a safe environment, using appropriate ball types and equipment progressing to hard ball play when coaches consider it to be safe. All hard ball batting requires full protective equipment including helmets. When does it all happen? (back to contents) Training for the U13’s age group and below, including beginners and girls, is on FRIDAYS from 6.30pm till dusk. This seasons training started on the 8th April 2005 and will continue to the end of August. Training for the U16 and U15 age group is held on TUESDAYS from 6pm till 8pm. This seasons training started on the 12th April 2005 and will continue to the end of August. About our Coaches (back to contents) All our youth sections are led by fully qualified ECB approved coaches. Brian Coleman is the Clubs Colts Manager and is responsible for the Under 11 A & B sections, the development of girls cricket, and is also the Club Welfare Officer.
