National Village Championship

The 2011 National Village Championship is the 340th time that this unique UK community-based sporting event has been held. Organised by The Wisden Cricketer magazine, the competition promotes the heart of the game in the UK with this year's Championship attracting over 490 villages.
The 2011 Championship, which begins with a gentle game between two neighbouring villages in May, climaxes with a Final at the spiritual home of cricket, Lord's.

All games are played on a Sunday, usually every fortnight, with the first round in April and the final at Lord's in September.  See Fixtures to see how Bentley CC are progressing.

Central Essex Twenty 20 Knockout Competition

In 2010, Bentley entered into the inaugural Central Essex T20 Cup sponsored by Warsop Stebbing. Matches are to be played midweek, and we have been drawn with Aythorpe Roding, Stock and Chignal Smealey.  For more details, click here.

Central Essex Sunday League

The Central Essex Sunday league is the newly formed league for cricket clubs in the mid-Essex area. The league season runs from the first Sunday in May until the last Sunday in August, with each club playing eight 40-overs per-side games.  It is sponsored by Warsop Stebbing, and Bentley won the Division 1 title in 2008 and 2009.  For more information, click here.
